Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pomeg-Tech and in charge of business development. Majored in marketing and economics.
Dr. Dan Rymón is active in Israel and other countries in agricultural marketing and development, R&D management and the interrelationships - R&D and economics and marketing.
Former positions held by Dr. Rymón are:
Chief economist, responsible for business development, at the Israel Dairy Board.
Research economist at the Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) of Israel's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Member of ARO management, responsible for research projects and budget control, and later for marketing strategy. Dr. Rymón developed a series of new economic and marketing models to support R&D management.
After leaving the ARO - carries out research projects, implementing innovation and marketing of IP. Consultant to venture capital funds (VC), start-up firms and has headed development projects for international financial and development institutions. Teaches academic courses on “Management and Economics of Biotechnology” and “Global Marketing”. Founding member and presently CEO of Pomeg-Tech.
Dr. Fathi Abd El Hadi – Ph.D., Hebrew University Jerusalem, Faculty of Agriculture Rehovoth, Israel.
CAO - Chief Agronomy Officer
Dr. Fathi Abd El Hadi is an agribusiness and agricultural extension specialist, who brings both a public and private sector perspective to Pomeg-Tech. Since his youth he has worked on his family farm raising field crops and fruit trees. Early in his career, Dr. Abd El-Hadi joined the Agricultural Extension Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, concentrating mainly on horticultural crops. Eventually he was promoted to the position of Chief National Specialist for pomegranates, olives, almonds and figs.
He presently serves in Israel's Tel Hai College as the academic director of a 220 hour olive and olive oil production course.
In 2006, he joined one of Israel's largest manufacturers of sophisticated irrigation equipment – Netafim - as an expert in pomegranates, olives and almonds. As such he has been involved in large horticultural irrigation projects throughout the world, sharing his expertise in all production aspects, including cultivation systems (intensive and super intensive), variety selection, plant protection, and nutrigation.
Since the beginning of 2010 he serves as chief agronomy officer for Pomeg-Tech.

Mr. Amos Levin specializes in horticulture, development of new plantations and post harvest treatment of fruits and vegetables.
Active in Israel and many other countries as professional consultant in post harvest and cold storage. Research experience as professional manager of the Upper Galilee post harvest laboratory.
Presently - general manager of Galil Cold Storage, the largest controlled atmosphere cold storage facilities in Israel.

Dr. Shlomo Marco,. Ph.D., Plant Protection, The Hebrew U. of Jerusalem, Faculty of Agriculture, Israel.

Former positions held by Dr. Shlomo Marco are:
Research scientist and Head of Virology Dept., Agricultural Research Organization, (ARO), Israel. Over 40 years experience in Israeli agriculture and as consultant and research scientist in many countries abroad.
Academic experience in Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Washington State U., University of British Columbia. Over 80 papers in scientific journals and text books, 4 registered cultivars, and some 20 professional reviews of the agriculture of different countries.
Presently founder and manager of 'VIRAN' Agroecological Laboratories and founding member of Pomeg-Tech.
Mr. Mustafa Natour, M.Sc., Economics, The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Israel
Director and Chief Extension and Management Officer (CEMO).
Mr. Mustafa Natour, M.Sc. is an active and experienced expert in agricultural economics and rural development, design and planning of agricultural extension systems, computerization and management of rural organizations.
Former positions held by Mr. Natour are:
An extension officer (vegetable crops). Later, Director of the Regional Extension and Technical Assistance Office, Nazareth, Israel. At present Mr. Natour manages a community development center in Nazareth, Israel, and works as an international agricultural development consultant. Acquired long-term experience in rural development as a consultant in many developing countries, mostly in Latin America, including Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, and Egypt.
Served as rural development adviser to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and to the Minister of Industry and Trade in Israel.

Prof. Yoav Sarig, Ph.D., Agricultural Engineering, Michigan State University, USA.

Prof. Yoav Sarig is a research scientist and past manager of the Institute of Agricultural Engineering at the Agricultural Research Organization (ARO) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Israel.
Former positions held by Prof. Sarig are:
Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the ARO.
Consultant to Israel's Ministry of Defense.
Minister-Counselor for Science & Agriculture, Embassy of Israel, China, established the Sino-Israel Agricultural Demonstration Farm and the International Agricultural Training Center, both in Beijing, China. Held academic positions in the Technion, Haifa, the Faculty of Agriculture of the Hebrew U. of Jerusalem, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Ben-Gurion U., Beer Sheba and the `Afeka` College of Engineering, Tel-Aviv. Over 100 scientific publications and 7 registered patents. Received an Honorary Doctor from the Chinese Agricultural University. Presently, an agri-business consultant.
