About us

Pomeg-Tech Ltd. is an Israeli company, staffed by world-renown experts who, as top experts in their fields, are capable of providing professional consultation, comprehensive solutions, and project implementation services for the pomegranate industry.

The company was established in 2006 by a group of seven Israeli experts, each specializing in one of the major fields serving the comprehensive technology developed in Israel for the pomegranate industry.

Pomeg-Tech experts have accumulated broad experience, both local and international, in project planning, implementation, operation and management. Their well documented expertise also covers applied R&D, extension and marketing management.

The founders include well known experts in:

Raising fruit crops in general and pomegranates in particular
Plant protection and integrated pest management (IPM)
Packing house management and cold storage operation, with broad experience with a variety of fruit crops, including pomegranates
Agricultural engineering and in particular, as the head of the team that developed the pomegranate aril release technology, advancement of the techniques for their separation from extraneous materials and their packaging in consumer Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP)
Food technology and processing of agricultural products, including food safety issues
Extension, technology transfer and farm management
Marketing and global business syste

The strength of Pomeg-Tech lies in its in house coverage of the key inter-disciplinary required areas of know-how, and the added recruitment of colleagues-specialists (e.g., nursery work, juice production, etc., if and when needed). All of these Pomeg-Tech experts are at the disposal of the customer from project initiation to final implementation.
